Non-Disclosure

Lawyer in Colleyville, Texas

Seal Your Criminal Record ◊ File a Non-Disclosure Petition

If you have been arrested in Tarrant County or Dallas County, and entered into a deferred adjudication agreement, you may be entitled to have any record of the arrest or conviction sealed, so long as you successfully completed the terms of the probation or other sentencing arrangements. This can allow you to prevent any record of that event from being accessed by potential employers, lenders or landlords, as well as educational institutions or licensing agencies.

At the office of Jack Byno, Attorney at Law, in Colleyville, I have helped individuals throughout the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area seek non-disclosure of criminal records for over 15 years. I have a comprehensive understanding of the process by which your criminal record can be sealed.

Need to Seal a Criminal Record in Tarrant or Dallas County?
Call attorney Jack Byno at 817-685-0912

In Texas, in cases where the court has decided to defer or postpone a determination of guilt until you have completed probation or some other diversionary program, you may be entitled to have your criminal record sealed if you successfully comply with the terms set forth by the court. The process by which your criminal record is sealed is called non-disclosure. A non-disclosure request will not be automatically granted just because you have complied with the requirements of a deferred adjudication.

Seal Your Criminal Record

At my office, I understand the factors that the courts weigh when making a determination whether to seal a criminal record. I will carefully review the facts and evidence of your case and will aggressively argue for non-disclosure, so that you can begin the process of getting your life back on track.

If you were arrested and never charged with a crime; or if you were charged, but the charges were dropped or you were acquitted, you may be entitled to have the arrest and charges erased from your criminal record. See my page on expunctions/expungements for more information.
